thanks, NN, yeah it has taken some days without beer and some calorie discipline, but i think i have a handle on it again.
i gave up the slow rep workout, while it was hard, i just felt like i was doing more with more movements, reps, weight, and time ... this week i am back to my regular set of exercises. getting more cardio in and fasting longer as well.

That’s great!! 😊 It’s all about figuring out what works best for you and making those little adjustments to your routine to achieve maximum results. A combo of cardio and strength on most days of the week is what works for me. I’m excited about being able to push a little harder now that my back feels better. I just have to watch and not push too hard and injure myself again though. No more P90X for me. 😬

Yeah NN for sure. And yes the back is no joke. Take it easy.

So true. I’m not a spring chicken anymore.

Ha. Too funny. You’re not 52 - so you’re a spring chicken to me. It kind of sucks - draglist and I have been doing this for 10 years and what worked to get me to 150 when I was 42 just doesn’t cut it now. I can get near 180 easy though 😁😁😂

I would have bet that you and Bill are both in your 40s!!! But yeah, I totally hear you. What used to work in my 20s definitely doesn’t work in my 30s. Gotta step it up big time to see results now.

How tall are you, BR? Just curious. 150 is basically my weight! 😬😬
