Not gonna lie, Hagen Dass was on menu last night, as well as 1/2 bag of cherries. I guess hiking made me hungry for junk..lol I love my fruit, especially soft fruits. Hard for me to resist so I'm going to try carb cycling. My nutritionist recommended it..I'll keep you posted. As far as I've cream, I could blame my husband cuz he bought it but that wouldn't be fair, I could've resisted..

@ JCmama carb cycling is where if you want to eat (or drink!) more carbs than usual, you have to with hold carbs next day. I usually eat about 100-140 carbs a day. If I want extra fruit or wine etc I have to only eat about 60ish carbs next day. It's not something u do often but once in awhile is ok. I am doing good calorie wise but carbs go right to my middle!

When I followed a health and food course, I learned that there is a difference between carbs in fruits/berries and other carbs, the more hidden carbs/sugars. The general advise is not have more than 10% carbs in your diet. However, sugars from fruits (and milk) are excluded from this 10%. I follow a low carb diet (hardly any pasta, bread, cookies, etc). However, like you, I love my fruits! And the moment I learned about this advise/rule, I started eating these fruits again, with every meal, and as in between!
