I hope this is a true drop and not a yo yo again. I feel thinner.
I had a fantastic meeting in Yuma, they can't see a down side to my program (there isn't one!), so once everyone approves, they are putting it before the school board and then we'll get started! I expect a list of over 2000 students, so we will have a lot of work to do, finding them and getting them into the graduation program. I'm so excited about this! I'm hitting the biggest districts first in the largest cities in the state, I hope my little company is ready for this! Nodropouts.com
I was a screwup in my 20s. I really was. Dropped out of college, did all sorts of things I shouldn't be doing, went from job to job to job, getting fired from some, just leaving others. At 26, my dad told me that it was time for me to get serious about school, that I wasn't going to have a good life if I didn't straighten up. The timing was right, I was finally willing to listen and went back to school and got my education degree and taught for 15 years. Getting an education changed my life, and I hope I can pay it forward with these kids.
