I guess consistency pays off! I have had a decent weight loss. How gratifying! I am still maintaining a 1.3 pounds/week weight loss over 42 weeks which is good by me. I find the averages over time keep it real. I know that 4 pounds in a week is not sustainable but I also know that this 1.3 on average per week is sustainable. The averages remind me that very high losses and very small losses (or gains) are not a roller coaster event but a solid trend downwards.
This week has been all about getting my very large yard into some semblance of order. I have been pruning and in some cases chain sawing back the trees and making the yard less jungle like. Jungle does imply humid hot growth which this isn't however poplar trees and caragana bushes left to their own devices spread quickly even in our dry occasionally hot climate. This included pushing 10 heaping wheelbarrow loads of branches approximately 300 feet to the brush pile. Hot sweaty work! I also am learning how to make the weed eater function. There is a trick to it but I am fast catching on. I have trimmed up spaces that haven't been trimmed in maybe 5 years! It really makes a difference. When Dave was ill and before that when I was ill we just put things like the yard to the very bottom of the priority list. Now it is time to attend to it.
I met with my banker yesterday. I think I have everything squared around except I will need to go online and get my investments figured out and in line with what I want. Another aspect that I have been ignoring for a long while.
I am going to the North Country Fair this up coming week. I will likely go on Wednesday and camp until Sunday. The Fair is a Friday to Sunday event however there are things that need attending to ahead of time. This means I will be either weighing in late or skipping a week and weighing in the Saturday after.

Carol... You never cease to amaze me! Wow... that certainly is a lot of yard work. Five years of neglect! It must feel very satisfying to be able to tackle so much. I like your comment on the downward trend, too.

I am blown away by how much you "can" do an "are" doing. Wow! I admire your attitudes.
