Boys home tomo, i.e. 1 more day:)... and more excited than ever! Again feeling good with my focus on family & friends this holiday instead of having the perfectly decorated house & tree, the perfectly prepared Christmas dinner or perfect presents for every family member. Saw a great quote yesterday that said it's not what's under your tree (or for that matter, whats on it), it's who's around it that matters!
Had gotten a bit stressed yesterday as I tried to fit in a couple extra errands in between meeting a friend for coffee & getting to my workout. But just breathed deeply through it & was no worse for the wear. Have to keep remembering the therapeutic benefits of breathing. As an avid exerciser & tennis player, I use breathing regularly as I push myself in either. Its such a basic human function, but has benefits beyond keeping us alive!
So, as I rejoice in who'll be around my tree soon (did I tell you they come home tomo?!?), I'll be praying, breathing, posting & logging my way one day, bite, moment, ornament, card, gift & decoration at a time!
