ok so, this is the heaviest I've ever been. Started Monday with the journal again to make myself aware of what I am consuming. it's very eye opening and has gotten me focused on my task. still looking for my goal weight of 185.

@DaleE123, I'm glad you've decided to take the bull by the horns. Don't waste anymore time! Your profile says you're "49" -- maybe that was back when you joined and you're now in your mid 50s, but still... I'm 65. I knew, when I was your age, that I should be doing something to improve my health. I put it off, and put it off, even though I knew better, and have paid *dearly* for the "privilege." GO FOR IT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Nice work DaleE. Heaven forbid we have to give up our beer though!! Strangely, or perhaps not so strangely, I am looking to start brewing my own during my weight loss mish.

Focused on the task is good. You know what to do, let's do it! By the way I'm a cook and home brewer also. But no brew for me at the moment, for now it is the enemy. :)

I feel your pain. we can do this I'm up 4lbs and I was trying to watch what I was eating. its all about getting back into the good habits. :)
