1/26/18 – 7:45am - I have neglected to list my Net Carbs in my Journal for the past 3 or 4 days. So, Monday: 29.4. Tuesday: 26.91. Wednesday: 19.60. Thursday: 20.90. So far, during the 90-Day Challenge, I’ve stayed under 30 Net Carbs every day, PTL. I know a lot of you are shooting for under TWENTY Net Carbs; but, for ME, going down to “just” 30 is a MAJOR improvement in my life! The day BEFORE we started the challenge, I had 129.99 NET Carbs!!! Food-wise, unfortunately, I didn’t figure the stats for some “Chocolate Cream Cheese Ice Cream” until AFTER I had made it, and then realized that I could NOT eat it because it’s more carbs than I want to expend. (Lesson Learned: Figure out the stats BEFORE making anything!!!) AND, since there was no way to really accurately figure the Fried Zucchini I made (battered with Whey Protein Powder), after I ate it the first time I didn’t eat any more (but my twin friends LOVED it!).

I got up two full hours later today than I have been – was so exhausted from taking down all the tree decorations AND the Dicken’s Village houses. We even pulled additional Christmas decorations out of the “junk room,” (which we did NOT use this year) and threw away the ones I didn’t want, and properly stored the others. Because of the intense HIP pain I’m having this morning (from limping on my hurting KNEE yesterday), I had to take a pain pill first thing this morning. I NEED to spend some time on my feet today, making Pecan Pancakes, Orange Creamsicle Jell-O Gelatin Cups, and No-Grain “Whole Grain” crackers! I also have a couple more gifts to wrap, and need to re-arrange the living room, now that all the Christmas stuff is out of it. SO, I’ve spent the first hour of my day, just catching up on my Journal from yesterday and today. I REALLY want some of those Pecan Pancakes for breakfast, but the Walden Farms Pancake Syrup I ordered from Amazon has still not arrived. (Maybe I should check and make sure I actually SENT that order in.) So, bacon and eggs, it is.
