Have been reading a lot of posts regarding water. I guess I just take it for granted that I drink a lot of water without considering how that came to be. That being said, I have to admit I've come a long way from a lot of bad bad habits. I was at one time a "chain smoker". I quit smoking some years ago...and water became the replacement prop for a smoke...so the obsession of holding and inhaling became a glass and a sip. Needless to say...I never dropped the prop. It is kind of weird how I cannot leave the house without a bottle of h20 just as I couldn't leave the house without my pack of cigarettes... I guess I just transferred the whole from a negative to a positive.
One of my truisms today about water is this:

There is no such thing as bad water (except dirty water).

Cold, hot, warm, room temp, lemon infused, iced, -- all good . Somehow , I drink it all kinda ways...if I get fussy about temp...or container....I risk losing the opportunity. I am every mindful today...that we are blessed and there are those, even today, who...die for lack of water. Keto on!

So true, Judy. It's called replacement behavior, where you replace one behavior with another. In this case a very good behavior in place of a very bad behavior! I think that's what we do when we decide to lose weight and change to a healthy eating lifestyle. It's a matter of replacing that food that is not good for us and replace it with food that is good for us! The art is "never dropping the prop."
