Interesting, that my new cutting edge diet says "No juices!", specifically fruit juices. It's a sugar overload, that many people are into.

I don't juice often, and when I do, it's purely vegetables. So I've been drinking a surprisingly tasty concoction of turnip greens, parsley, ginger, serrano peppers, celery, cucumber, and lime. It just makes me feel better when I'm sick

Well, it's funny, that I got a Juicer for Christmas, and my diet is now "No Fruit Juices" period. This diet is don't focus on calories, focus on insulin and sugar content.

So, when you make your veggie drinks do you have to use a juicer or can you just blend it all up? Sometimes I think I might like to try....

You can do either/or. Today was the juicer, but I think the blender is the healthier way, since you still get the fiber. But you need a super powerful blender. My Vitamix was a great investment for that. I still like to use the juicer on occasion though. An 8 oz serving is usually around 100 calories and it's packed with nutrients, (assuming it's all/mostly veggies)
