I really don't get it, is your body not able to draw on the extra weight you're carrying? I think I would do some research (from reliable sources, like Mayo Clinic) to see if gaining that much weight is really necessary. However, I wish you and that baby all the best. 💜💚💛

Shir- i hope the same and i eat when im hungry. So far ive gained 4-6lbs. Doc recommended 11-20 gain by end of pregnancy. I do not try to eat extra.

Half a pound a week for 26 weeks is just 13 lbs. And you are growing a 6 to 9+ pound human in there... so it is truly mostly the baby... you would only be gaining 4 to 7 lbs.
Providing nutrition to you and your baby now will help you later. Don't stress 300 calories.
