izzypup68's Journal, 27 March 2015

I just lost all sense of moderation last night. I ate several slices of pizza, washed down with beer, and followed up with cookies. Wow! I did enjoy the tastes, but I was way over-full by the end of my feeding frenzy. I was just sort of sitting back, thinking, What happened?!

I have been the picture of calm self-control for the past few weeks and suddenly this seemed to come out of the blue. Puzzling, but there is nothing to do but move forward. My son is back at school today, so I was able to get a good workout in at the gym this morning. I have a million and one things to get done today, so no sitting around for me. I will keep moving and eat more mindfully today.

LOL - I had the same type of event last Friday - did well all week, then visited friends in the evening and gobbled down popcorn with chocolate drizzled on it - so not part of my low carb living plan! But, I bounced back - and you will, too!

lol I tried Gluten free pizza a few days ago I made the boys and then kept going. It happens. I just move on and do better. The longer I do this WOE though it gets easier, carbs are giving me tummy aches.

I think most of us have been there at one time or another, but you'll do better today and it will be fine. If it only happens once in a while you're good, it's if it starts happening all the time that you need to worry. I'd have no willpower around pizza and cookies. Today is a new day.
