Woke at 229.4, up .6 from yesterday. That was a surprise after a 750-calorie day on FMD. I ate salsa from a jar with some cauliflower last night. That sodium might be causing water retention. Day four of June FMD and my last day of the month. UPDATE: Down to 228.1 by lunchtime. Ate half a head of cauliflower. UPDATE 2: Got to 226.9 by 6 pm. That's down 8 pounds from the water weight gained last weekend but still will show a net gain for this month.

Hi Draglist - just a thought but the salt content in some veggies is enough to make a person reconsider the "healthier choice" for a moment. Salt over consumption/water retention - salt does cause a weigh scale increase with no CI and without any additional liquid - an actual weight "increase" without any input ---- the same weight increase is noted on-line regarding the weight increase that occurs after exercising --- that might have something to do with the chemical/muscle exercise changes with salt as a chemical carrier ??? IDK but that increase with salt is not healthy and it does happen.
