Thought for sure I’d see a weight gain today after feeling bloated af after dinner last night…second night of pasta after coming off keto. Man, it gave me gas bad…with keto I had virtually zero gas. I’m going to test rice vs pasta for carb intake because I read rice doesn’t cause a mighty wind. Too much info? 😂

I have 2servings pasta w/ ground turkey and tomato sauce once a day. gas is never really an issue for me from it. maybe you're just adjusting to it .

You might or might not be interested in reading up a bit on transitioning from a keto diet. There are some good recommendations and explanations as Why.

The gas is normal for me…it was constant before keto. I don’t think I’m gluten sensitive because I don’t have…ummm…toilet issues 🧐. But it’s clear now I can’t blame beer or sweets…perhaps it’s refined wheat products. It was $.79 spaghetti after all. I’m going back low carb for the weekend as I don’t have another strength training morning until Monday. Monday I will have only whole wheat and/or rice products and see what happens.

You might try pasta made with semolina flour (soft wheat variety), which is apparently more digestible and less "reactive." De Cecco brand is sold on Amazon, also Garofalo (seems to get rave reviews). Semolina is grown in Europe, not sure if any is grown in U.S. If you want more detail about wheat varieties, see Marksdailyapple.com article "why do I get a gluten reaction from American wheat but not overseas?"
