Happy Easter! I woke and didn't weigh in immediately. Did pushups and 30 minutes of HIIT on the bike. Got some black coffee, sugar-free almond milk, and ONE jellybean as an experiment. An hour later, my blood glucose was 105! I will have some dark chocolate today, along with ham and some fixings. I weighed 230.2 after my workout, down 3.9 from yesterday. Still have a lot of fluid and bulk to move out. UPDATE: Went out and soaked up some vitamin D with a big, fat bumblebee hovering around me the entire time. Ate some Easter candy and frittatas for lunch. I checked glucose, and it was 103. So, not great, but no significant spike as I literally added sugar to my bloodstream. Ham and calico beans for dinner, plus a chocolate cake for dessert. This coming week will likely be ham each day.
