In 18 days I haven't lost a pound. Isn't it interesting that when you start exercising all of a sudden the bad foods aren't worth eating anymore? I've been doing so well for a whole week with my exercising. According to the cal count my foods are a lot less than my expenditure of energy and still. No movement on the scale. It has to be my foods. I'll pay more attention. Maybe I'm not eating often enough? I often skip snacks and actually skipped lunch yesterday. I must also incorporate more veggies into my diet.

Hehe 'bad foods' aren't as appealing because you know how long it takes to work them off! You might try to severely cut your sodium intake to get the scale to move. Excess salt = water retention. So if you go a few days without any added salt to your foods and drink LOTS of water, the water should flush out the excess salt and restore your balance again. Usually taking a few lbs away.

If you aren't eating enough you may not lose, especially if you are exercising. Going too low will slow your metabolism. You have to fuel your metabolism in order for it to burn calories. Stay away from too many processed foods and concentrate on lean protein, veggies and fruit. Drink your water! Maybe break your food down into 5 or 6 smaller meals instead of 3 big ones (it helps keep your metabolism burning). You need to think of your metabolism like a furnance. If you don't fuel it properly, it's not going to work very well. You might also try varying your calories. Have high and low days (but try not to go below 1000). Good luck!
