TGIF! Stayed late at work and finished up a project last night - feels good to have that off my plate.

As for diet - DH didn't get home from Georgia until late last night so we had a big pork dinner at 9 PM. Day's total - 1700 calories!

The good news - Since I am stuck with this once a week cheat day I'm more determined to stay on track for the other 6 days.

Hope everybody has a great weekend!

I don't think 1700 calories is too much of a cheat day! You are doing great Buffy! Sometimes we just have to shake things up with to fool the body out of set points. Have a wonderful weekend! :)

Mom - I'll admit, it could have been worse. Maybe it will even help? I'd love to see that scale move again. I am still 3 pounds over my pre-holiday weight.

Wholefoodnut - hate that you had to stay late too. Funny how in this electronic age we are buried in paperwork. My project involved mailing a box of closeout documents. This box weighted over 10 pounds - that is a lot of paper!

I keep bouncing up and down 3 lbs. It's been hard this last week especially... but I had a bit of a loss. You will too. Don't fret, just keep doing the "do" of it. :)

Mom- always appreciate your encouragement! Here's hoping that the next time you lose 3 pounds, it will be followed by 3 more pounds!

YIKES !! lots of paper. I work for a tansfer agent for mutual fund companies. This time of year we get lots of requests from both companies, nursing homes, and senior housing to verify income and balances for thier account with us. 2 of us work on those in addition to our normal jobs--we don't get extra time during the day to complete them and most are time sensitive. Most of the year we just multi task however it's too busy this time of year. I would do them as I'm mostly working for a different fund company that is slower than my main one but the computer systems are different so can only access one and my partner has been working with new trainees. That means we stay late to complete them. Nice for our paychecks!

wholefoodnut - Very interesting job! I am 60 and still don't know what I want to do when I grow up.

Interesting--definitely learn something new every day. I also haven't figured out what I want to do. LOL. Not my plan for a job but it pays the bills. Stressful and absolutely crazy from dec till may. It does have good benefits. I've been there going on 7 yrs and get 4 weeks vacation this year.

Enjoying a nice dinner with your DH is worth a few extra calories -- TGIF, sweet friend! Xoxox

I found out what I wanted to be when I grew up ... retired. LMAO!

Honestly I'd love to retire from my full time job. Probably push teaching long arm quilting, explore making and selling some things (home-made dog treats, salt scrubs) learn how to throw pottery, all kinds of things I've always wanted to try or learn and haven't had the time to do. Can't afford to.
