On the long term trend (measured by TrendWeight.com), I lost 3.3 net pounds in October (and 5.9 over the past two months). My body fat percentage went down .6 percent (2.5 pounds). My lean mass went down by .8 pounds. I ate 397 fewer calories per day on average and I burned a few more calories per day. I finally got right on my calorie goal this month, even with a 3650 calorie Thanksgiving celebration. I used mostly OMAD with a few 16:8 IF days. I did do protein drinks at noon on most days. I targeted 155 grams of protein per day but would not reach that if it meant going too far over my calorie goal. At a minimum, I ensured that my combined fat and carb grams did not exceed my protein grams (except on Thanksgiving). My average carbs stayed at 79 grams per day on a 50-gram target (but the average was skewed by a 375 carb Thanksgiving). My average fat intake went from 85 to 61 grams per day on a 92-gram target. This is not keto at all as I am maximizing protein. My protein went from 178 to 140 grams per day on a 155-gram target. My estimated alcohol intake (macros multiplied minus total calories went from 255 calories a day to 220. Lots of red wine, but less whiskey as I traded neat whiskey for vodka and soda at online happy hours. I ended the month at 226.5 pounds, but that was after Thanksgiving. I hit 225.0 before that. I will continue the same plan in December.
