I don't know why but I have been eating like a bottomless pit the last couple of days. Ugh I told my mom to take her cannister of cookies home because I can't control myself and keep myself from eating them. Majority of the time, I am pretty good at resisting temptation, but damn, these last two days, you'd think I have never eating a damn cookie before. Sigh. Here is to a hopefully better, much more balanced, rest of the week. (Side note: I made myself walk the 7 flights of stairs in my office building to remind my big ass that I got goals and have a ways to go! LOL)

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with you. I’ve been eating cookies too. You made the right move by getting them out of the house I need to do that as well. I realized recently I never knew there was such a thing as eating mindlessly due to stress, but that was what was going on with me. I sit and think about stuff and it’s same time I mindlessly eating. Once you get a hang of controlling that things will go a lot better. I hope I don’t sound too preachy because I’m not trying to be.

I do the 7 flights of stairs to my desk sometimes to! get the heart pumpkin early in the morning (and it reminds me that it shouldn't be so damn hard LOL)

OMG, how crazy. I was just replying to by buddy telling her about mindless eating and then I see ocean_girl's comment about it above. #SAMEWAVELENGTH I can eat a single cookie if it was only on a napkin. I tend to pair items which explains some of my food challenges. Vcabral2, take this one day at a time and strive to get better.

Not preachy at all Oceangirl! Thank you! And yes Tina, I used to be able to walk those flight of stairs 3 times during my break! Ugh I did it once and was like wow how was I able to do that 3 times! Lol. Thank you for your support Ches! Indeed I will take it one day at a time.

Cookies are my downfall! Who knows what causes us to fall prey to things we can normally pass up! This time of year is usually hard. But this year is worse.

Extremely worse Caraken! LOL@cc the new lady at work has a candy dish in the front of our office stocked with yummy chocolates, I can thankfully walk by it but the last couple of days I sure did grab one lol Freaking Halloween and yummy candy! ugh

Me too. Is it the changing of the season? I rarely eat my whole dinner but last few days I'm going back for seconds and prowling the pantry for snacks I usually don't care for.

Cooler weather and football season I’m wanting all my comfort foods! I’ve had a couple of not so good day’s lately. Have to keep on track! I use to get discouraged when I had a few bad days. Now I just get back at it! Keep it up!

I know what you mean 🍪🙃☕️.. lately I want cookies and coffee for breakfast lol .. and it’s tempting when everyone at work brings in the sweet treats lol... I bring my pup to work so he’s my excuse for my Quick walks around the building .. when’ a fur baby needs to potty he needs to potty lol but you got this 💪💪💪 we all have those days .. don’t be so hard on yourself .. tomorrow is a new day ☀️🌻😀

Rosie you may be on to something! Likewise Mimi! I am happy that I know to reel it back in, instead of just full on jumping ship. DP, I am trying so hard to not go over 2500! If I worked out every day, faithfully, and effectively, I would not be so worried. But I aint doing shit, so ya. lmao. Thanks Charlie! I usually bring my sneakers to work to walk around the building during my breaks, but I keep forgetting them. Damn straight Sunny! They were gone yesterday, so since I had no cookies to eat, I did a bit of meal planning and cooked 3 different types of dinners for the week so the family can leave me alone about it for the rest of the week. LOL
