Okay so my trial week is up. I did not monitor what I ate (tracked it all, but just ate what I wanted til full) and the scale has not moved. I guess I will go back to how I was eating and monitoring everything. For me I guess I am one of those rare breeds that really needs to keep close watch on carbs, fat, protein etc. I know technically it is not a stall until I have not lost inches or weight in 4 weeks, but it definitely seems like that's where I am heading.
TRIAL WEEK:(No Loss, No Gain) I have been trying to follow Induction more closely due to responses I got. I try to keep my carbs near 20net with 12-15 from veggies. A sample day's meal - 1 serv Bacon Cheese Quiche with 1/4c onion, coffee with 2tbs HWC, 3oz ground beef cooked, 1c romaine lettuce, 1c cucumbers, 1/2c cherry tomato, 1/4c shredded gouda, 2tbs kraft mayo, 1 chicken thigh, 1/2c cooked broccoli, 1/2c cooked mushrooms, 1/4c shredded gouda. Total of 16.3net carbs with 13.5net from the veggies.
HOW I WAS EATING BEFORE TRIAL(Losing Weight Steadily)First starting Atkins, like I said I kept my carbs under 10net. I would rotate days between 500 - 1200 cals and only foods from induction. A sample low day's meal - 1 serv Bacon Cheese Quiche, coffee with 2tbs HWC, and a hamburger patty with 1tbs mayo. A sample high day's meal would be - 1serv Bacon Cheese Quiche, coffee with 2tbs HWC, 1 serv Bacon Beef Roll, 1 serv Cajun Cabbage, 1/4c Shredded Mexican cheese.
BEFORE DIETING(Gaining Weight)Before Atkins - I would eat roughly 500-900cals a day averaging around 70 carbs from either pasta, rice, or potatoes. A sample day's meal would be - 1large slice meatloaf, 2cups mashed potatoes, 1 cup green beans. I only ate at supper time. Eating this way I was gaining about 3lbs a month due to meds I am on.
