I find that my sleep is affected significantly if I eat a lot before going to bed, and the more sugars/simple carbs ingested the worse it is. I'll wake up in the middle of the night with a relatively fast heart rate, feel agitated, and be sweating. When this happens I usually end up awake and unable to go back to sleep for hours. Hope you have a great weekend also.

In my case, when I over have intake sugar (=carbohydrates), it makes me super sleepy like a food coma. So I try to go for a walk for an hour and try to stay up 1 to 2 hours from a walk. When I fell asleep right after a meal, I got a reflux stomach it gave me coughing.

Can't help here. Something to tweak though, for yourself. :0)

Sugar makes my joints hurt really badly, so bad I literally cannot move or turn over in bed.
The addiction is hard to get away from once the door is open. I know it will hurt but I still eat it, usually in the form of dark chocolate, and by most standards very low amounts but it still hurts like hell. Just about over the Xmas silliness now thankfully.

Good Morning and thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Some interesting reactions. @YAsmine15585....my partner is the same. he can drink a cup of coffee with sugar at 10pm and snooze 5 minutes later ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
