This is a journey and I have to keep that in perspective. I ate crap and paid for it. As I go back and read about gluten intolerance I see so many of my symptoms there...just amazing. Also is the irritability, mood swings, depression...which could also lend a hand to the crying mood that I was in yesterday.
It is funny too because today as I am feeling better and try the test strip I am showing a trace of ketosis so I do think it is all related. I do not think there is any fear of me ever wanting Pad See Yew again in my life.
My weight is still up and I am not going to record it right now but I feel better today. I am already slightly in ketosis and I learned a valuable lesson (the hard way). Man that cornbread dressing that I had at Thanksgiving was nothing in comparison to the noodles that I had at the Thai restaurant. Lesson learned....yes the hard way.
I am so very thankful for my FS friends here. They lifted me up when I was feeling down. I was crying from feeling like the world was against me and then I found myself crying because I had these wonderful ladies standing there with me ready to kick the world's butt. You ladies ROCK!! I am so thankful to each of you for your friendship.
So today I will carry on. I am still having severe stomach cramps off and on and finally things are starting to move. With that is the ketosis starting to kick in and I know I can get back to where I was and back on track.
You ladies, and your friendship, is a wonderful gift this Christmas Season.
