Traveling, eating well and tracking has been enormously difficult. As if since i dont know how to track it, i just DONT. However I am making a commitment to start cooking more. which os difficult since I dont know many dishes that everybody enjoys. I made Salmon, which is always a hit. but from beyond that... I say I have some creative thinking to do.

Are you traveling for work or vacation? I travel a lot for work and try to stick to the meals I know and can track well. Also, many chain restaurants are on here, so that helps me too.

Begin at the beginning. If you bite you write. If you ask most people what they've consumed over a day the answer will be a full description of 3 meals, maybe a drink or two. When you bite and write you see just how many hidden calories you are consuming. It doesn't have to be perfect, but let's face it tasting food while cooking has calories, tasting your partner's meal has calories, that sip of juice with vitamins has calories. So write it then at the end of the day use the food diary here at FS and allot yourself 10 min to get it all in. The more times you do it the faster the process is and when you see what you are actually eating, you become more aware and will most likely not take that extra taste. Happy calorie hunting🙋

There are a few great cooking shows on TV. Record some and start watching. Subscribe to a cooking magazine that goes along with your WOE. Use GOOGLE to get recipe suggestions for ingredients you like. Etc, etc, etc.

I often use google to research HFLC recipes - I like variety They give nutritional numbers. Sometimes need to adjust slightly but overall great options especially if you want change from same old ho Humm

Don't try to do too much all at once. Just take baby steps. One new recipe a week and before you know it, you'll have an entire menu at the ready!
