Day 1 of a planned 1 days of eating Blood sugar 85 mg/dL
Yesterday I 🏃🏾♂️ ran 7 miles and did not eat any solid food all day. We stayed up late, and at midnight, I had two large tacos and a bag of Frosted Flakes and went to bed. Woke up with a 85 blood glucose reading?? The only thing I can think of is that my body refilled my glycogen stores (reducing my blood sugar level), and, so far, is not storing the carb influx as fat.
So, I will do another 7 mile 🏃🏾♂️ run today. Can’t hurt.
Today, I will have a day of ‘letting lose’ 😊 I will try to minimize the damage but, my past history does not bode well for this actually working Haha!
Yes, I would be better off eating low carb/low protein today, or even ‘no solid food’ fasting (for me this ends up being the same thing), but, I can only get through the diet restrictions during the week, when I know I will get a ‘reward’ on the weekends.
😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!
