Well, the good news is that I didn't gain. As much as I recorded what I ate and exercised several times a week, I have held steady since New Years. I started some new rituals: I pull together food at night for the next day. Not good at just eating the same thing every day, so I am working on food at night. Before I go to sleep, I set up a coffee maker in my room - seems like coffee in bed was the only thing I miss about my last boyfriend! Now I can get a cup of coffee first thing when I wake up. Next, I found a latte machine in my work kitchen - very nice coffee maker, froths milk and heats it up, so I have been having fresh coffee at work again. And at night, I make myself decaf to go with dinner! So, getting a lot of liquid during the day through coffee. Today I brought in a sliced lime to flavor my water bottle, to see if I can get myself to drink regularly something other than coffee. Bought lots of salads yesterday as well as limes, and some fruit. Did not go to the warehouse store - I think that gets me in trouble. I will save my canned good shopping for the warehouse and go to the regular grocery for single servings of stuff. Downloaded a 7-day menu plan and will adapt it for single servings. I find I like variety and can eat the same things only twice a week, so the huge portions even frozen and reheated just don't thrill me. Changed habits: set up coffee at night for coffee in bed in the morning. Added capucinno for a snack in the afternoon. Getting dressed before taking care of my pets. Putting lunch together at night. Steak dinner if I workout at the gym. Next: figure out how to stop eating cookies at the dances!
