So, I ate three Farmer John sausage links, 1g carbs per I think. And I thought avocados were okay to eat on keto. But my eyes about popped out when carbs showed over 17.15 carbs. I need to read more carefully. But there wasn't a label to read on the three avodacos I bought. I feel disappointed that there were that many carbs in it.

I can do an avocado without going out of ketosis but they are so calorie dense I end up eating too many calories. Once you get on the swing of keto in a few months, give them a try again.

You should count netcarbs and then they are just fine. A great way to get fat and fiber without adding much for carbs or protein. It is a perfect keto item to eat in my opion. I eat loads every week without any issue

Avocados are great (in general) while on keto. They will force you to keep the garbage carbs off your menu. They have a lot of potassium which is super important while on keto. I discovered that I’m allergic to them though so I had to stop eating them 😭😭

I’d eat 1/4 -1/2 every other day to balance it out
