laraae's Journal, 24 January 2019

Yesterday I wasn’t as healthy with my choices as I could and then. I bought skinny pop white cheddar popcorn, and instead of just having one 3 1/2 cup serving, I had two. And instead of having one serving or even two servings of Frosted Flakes I had three and probably a little more than that. I was craving sugar like anything which is why Frosted Flakes was my dinner. Not a good choice by any means. I still came under 2000 cal, but barely. And I had physical therapy yesterday which helped with my back pain, but the pain was winning. It’s so clear to me now to see that it’s not just my emotions that affect my eating but my pain level as well. And since I live with chronic pain, I need to find a way around this because the pain is not going to stop. It can be managed to a point, but I have to stop going to sugar and carbs to make myself feel better. Because maybe I felt better yesterday after eating or rather while eating, but afterwards and today I’m just aggravated that it came to that. 😡😞
