One of the biggest challenges I have to loosing weight is the way I act around other people. I have a hard time saying no to friends and family when they cook something or buy something that doesn’t fit well with my eating habits. I try to choose wisely when going out to eat with friends, and take small portions when eating in. But I still get pressure from some to “eat up” , have more, don’t let it go to waist. A couple of years ago I had tried to cut meat out of my diet. I did this to help with good eating habits. It was the longest “diet” I ever stuck to, overcoming many obstacles. What finally ended it was a trip to my father in-laws house for Christmas, I was afraid he would see me as a wimp or less of a man because I wasn’t eating meat. So for dinner and ever meal for 6 days I ate tons of meat and other fat filled goodies, eventually resulting in me loosing the willpower to continue my “diet” and over the next several months gaining 15+ lbs. I know I am going to have to work hard on not caring about what other people think of me or the things I am doing in order to accomplish my goal. In the long run all the good friends and family will be there to help me along and keep me accountable.

First day of my new eating plan. I am going to follow the following rules,
1. No soda
2. No alcohol
3. No fast food
4. I must count all calories
5. Limit myself to 1500 cal a day
6. Exercise at least 3 times a week
I will add more rules as they come up.
I am not trying a certain diet because I am trying to change my overall eating habits. Eating what I want, but limiting my calorie intake has worked best for me. It's like a game and to win you just have to come in under your goal everyday
Next weight in I will go over some of the things that have stopped me from eating right.
