Well here, I go again, hopefully this time I can commit to the Atkins way of eating. I joined fatsecret a few months back and immediately joined a challenge where I lost 9 pounds. Then a life changing situation affected my family and I gained it back. Not this time,life takes so many turns and twist that the average person cannot control, but our weight to some degree is controllable and I am taking control of my weight. I can do this; we all can do this together.

With my weight loss slowing down I think it is time to cut out the coffee and cream/splenda. Those little hidden carbs in dressings for salads are killing me. Going on a camping trip for 10 days, this is going to be a challenge but am determined to stay legal.

Today is so busy, running errands, groceries, family outings can't wait till the day ends. As a result lunch was limited to (2)cans of Atkins Advantage shakes. Not the best lunch in the world but keeps me legal with carb count. I will have to incorporate some higher carb vegies for dinner to meet goal.

I think my cravings are gone. I walked in a store yesterday and didn't even think twice about the junk on the shelves, it's such a good feeling knowing I don't want or need that stuff. The exercise I am finding a little hard, my legs burn when walking up stairs. I think it is because I have no muscle tone...hopefully this goes away soon.
