I went to Florida this weekend and basically threw out good food choices. I had chicken and pasta, rolls, and other non healthy choices. Food was provided for me on the retreat, but I did pass on desserts. I will have to be diligent this next 2 weeks to get back on routine. I had a good time and did get away from Ga for a while. The seminar was very enlightening. How to Avoid Marrying Jerk or Jerkette. John Epp PHD was the writer of the book and we saw videos based on his methodology on how to have a healthy and lasting relationship. We had time in the afternoon to go out to the beach, shopping or what ever you wanted to do. I spent most of my free time on the hotel balcony working on my colloege paper. What is a girl to do? Enjoy the sun and surf annd become a crispy critter or get a school paper worked on to wrap another class. Hate to say it but for a good part of the day the paper won out. I did put together a group of 6 other guys that went with me to go see Pirates of the Carribean, on Stranger Tides with me. I have a minnie van and offered to drive. That was one cool movie. I guess I am just partial to Johnny Depp. LOL. All in all it was a nice weekend.

Totally random here, but I adopted an older declawed rescue kitty and made the mistake of letting his bell collar on him at night. OMG. The laid back couch cat became a berzerker at night running all over the apt. At one point he cried beside the bed, I shushed him reached over and took off the collar. Not another peep or sound out of him the rest of the night. 2 days already who has whom trained:) I was so exausted from lack of sleep, I didn't get up to work out. The moral of this story is debell the new cat before bed, or close the blasted bedroom door so he can't walk on you and keep you awake purring and head butting you to pet him all night. Lesson learned.

I went out at lunch and walked for 30 minutes instead of sitting at the desk. It cooled down some. Th weather has been rotten hot.
