Well the last couple days have been good and bad. Sum days I have stuck to it and sum days I have not been as strict. Haven't been active because of the rain but for the most part I have done pretty good. Cooked a big pot of homemade vegetable soup and cornbread. I am not a big bread person but I luv cornbread....so I had one piece. It was very filling but not stuffed feeling.plus I can take it to work next week.

I messed up pretty big last night.....buttered popcorn and two brownies......and did not get on the bike or walk. The good thing is that for the first time I can feel a little give in my scrub pants and they are not so tight. Trying hard to fight the hunger today. Just feels like one of those days I could eat everything. Going to fight it all day.

I certainly hope the rain slacks off for at least today and tomorrow. I really need to do some walking. Keep saying I am going to start the stationary bike. I had good intentions. I went to pull it out of the storage building but it was a little too much for me to handle. My husband said he would get it out for me today so hopefully that is going to help me burn more calories on days when I cannot walk.
Work is ordering pizza today for birthday girl so another temptation but I have already looked up one piece and have adjusted my diet plan to include this. I have been doing pretty good so I am hoping this will not set me back any. We will see.
I went and weighed before I decided to eat the pizza. Yey me......I have lost another 2.5 pounds since Monday. My choice.....eat 1 piece (with a very small salad) and walk for 30 minutes along with the bike. Choices, choices. After we were through eating one of the girls at work came in and told us there were chocolate covered donuts in the break room that a rep had bought. I DEFINITELY passed that up. TEMPTATION!!!!!!!!

Raining and no way to go walking. Had to come home last night and cook something for lunch at work tomorrow. I cooked my chocolate chip stuffed oreo brownies. (I did not even lick the spoons or eat a crumb). Lol.
I did pretty well at lunch (if you look at my diet plan I had a tbsp of this and a tbsp of that Lol.) I am already up to 980 calories before going home for the evening. I have got to try to get on my stationary bike because all this rain is preventing me from my walking. I think I am doing pretty good. After all, this week has contained one family birthday dinner (with cake and chocolate icing) and a birthday lunch at work (all kinds of my favorite fattening dips, chips and sweets) and I have not gone crazy eating everything in site. I may try to climb the stairs here in the hospital since it is raining before I go home. That would be a good calorie burn. Just trying to keep up the good work and not lapse.
