Hi! I’m 65 years young and Mick Jagger was right, what a drag it is getting old! I’m looking for a diet buddy who I can gain support for trying to be more active and eating less! I think Keto type diet is best for me as long as I don’t go overboard on fats and proteins. It’s tough considering my job I retired from included 12 hour shifts and mostly sitting.....ugh!!!
I would appreciate any help I can get!

Hi Everyone trying to partner up with someone with similar habits
Hi DonnaGee, I’m 65 and have tried every diet in the world. I used to be skinny until I hit menopause at age 52. Since then, it’s been the “battle of the bulge” ever since. I lost my husband in an auto accident in 2010, lost a lot of weight and was looking pretty good. Got remarried three years ago and have put all the weight back on. It’s so tough having to feed someone like our husbands! Mine is good with his weight and eats like a bird most of the time.
I have found that Keto is best for me as long as I keep the veggies really high on my list and not get lost in the fats and proteins! I need to lose about 50-60 pounds. Also I find walking on the treadmill daily helps just to keep my spirits up. When I move, I don’t beat myself up so much for being sedentary. My problem is I eat emotionally and at 2:30-3:00 pm everyday, I get a horrible craving for chips and salsa! 😳😳 I could use any support I can get! I live in the Houston area and would love a diet buddy!

Blended soups
You can make soups out of any vegetable you like. Blend in either vegetable broth or chicken or beef broth
