There has been torrential rain and flooding in my region of the Philippines for the past few days. Today, I went out of my condo with my sister, holding 2 garbage bags full of clothes. We picked up my best friend who lives a few buildings down and triked to school to donate for the flood victims. After, we went to another part of my school to volunteer to look after some babies who had to evacuate yesterday. It was fun and tiring.

We got out at around lunch time so we went to McDonald's for lunch. I wasn't very good today. :( I had a cheeseburger and some fries along with sprite. I had cooked some salsa and ground pork but I saved it for later. I fell asleep at around 1:30pm and woke up five hours later to have pancit canton for dinner.

I'm pretty bummed that I went about 100 calories over my set daily calorie count. I'm going to exercise in a bit to try and burn some then head to sleep. I have volunteer work tomorrow.

I decided to make a change early in July. I was sick and my mother took me to the doctor's office to get a check up. As I was waiting in the reception area, a nurse came out and asked me to follow her so she could take down my weight and my height. I always knew I was 5'3 so when he said my height out loud, I was not surprised. It was when he said my weight that I was rather surprised and rather embarrassed. I weighed 179.3 lbs.

The following week, I decided to diet and begin exercising daily. After some hard work, I was able to lose 12 lbs. My weight dropped to 167.2 lbs and I was overjoyed. Unfortunately, my joy led me to slack off. I stopped working out every single day and I strayed away from my diet every now and then.

I weighed myself today and I am 168 lbs. Just about a pound gained but still. I am disappointed that I have not lost weight. I set a deadline for myself and I'm not too far from reaching it.

Right now, I just need to work harder.
