ATTACK OF THE HAPPY VEGGIES...
oh i am soooo happy...
after the interview on friday at 7:00 am - i was offered the job on the spot...i accepted and they are going to work around the surgery...
my surgery was moved from jan 11th to dec 28th at 5:30 am...so all is working out just wonderfully - will be out of pain 4 weeks sooner than planned
it is amazing at what God can - everything was on hold last night and just cleared up this am...
went to dinner with a girlfriend for our annual Christmas dinner and i actually order asparagus on purpose...lol...and ate them until they got cold and then i didnt like them anymore...and they were hugh...i mean it really big ones...
next week i will not be on line much at all - as i dont know if i will be up and around - will try and check in asap on everyones journals...have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed new year

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...
oh yeah...i have good news for a change...lol
got a call late last night from the headhunter - she has me set up with an early interview tomorrow morning at 7:30 - the job is no outside sales, an already existing client base, normal 9-5 hours and about 9k a year more ... oh yeah

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...
as the sauga continues...met yesterday am (before work) with a head hunter for a new position - she was very positive about finding me another position with comparable salary - after i left her office, she called my references and within 15 minutes had talked to all of them...please say your prayers, or put your thoughts out there for a a wonderful new challenge to come my way - i love to be challenged when i work...
on the food from...still making a dent in the veggie issues, had a long talk with the veggie crisper drawer (it was letting in too much moisture and veggies were limp)...so now i am able to keep at least 2 days worth and that forces me to eat them...havent found any new ones that i like yet -
on the home front - i have the most wonderful hubby - i had asked him to take off the day of my surgery and the next day 1/2 day to bring me home - found out friday that he took off the whole week from his full time position and rearranged two of the video tapings that we were to do those couple of weeks...he has been doing his own research (this is a first)...
i am an online shopper - so my christmas shopping is almost done - have a couple of little things to get that i do not have time to have shipped to me...
am planning on doing the 5x5 rule for all functions between now and new years eve - nye will be difficult since it is at our house this year again...
i heard a new idea for christmas on the radio - to send a card or present to the people on your list who do not care for your or are your enemies - to change the spirit of those around you and to uplift your own...
other than that - nothin's changed...been reading all of your journals and commenting when time allows...have a very blessed season

NOT SO MUCH OF AN ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...
i opened the refrigerator door last night to find the veggies for dinner and they all ran away - after chasing them down into the basement - they confessed that the only reason they stayed at my house was because it was a safe area and now they dont feel safe anymore...
an update from the job situation...i received a call from my boss and he has given me 2 weeks for the surgery - i have one week that i have enough pto (paid time off) to cover and one week unpaid...if i take any additional time they will have to reevaluate my employement...believe it or not i am at peace with it, God will heal me within the 2 weeks and i will do my best to help with that process...

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...
so much has happened since the last journal - most of it not good so i will skip it and say something good for a change...lol
the local football team here (bengals) is in first place in our division all by themselves...lol..first time in 19 years...one more win this year and we get the first round bye in the play offs...oh yeah...
i have been really good at getting some veggie in everyday - most of the normal ones...a few are better than none, right? :-?
tonight will be articoke hearts, asparagus and salad at the same time...lol...i want an A for effort
we had our first snow this morning - it was very pretty for the 2 hours that it lasted - more to come this week...yeah
have a wonderful fs day...
