LOVING this IF...and the bullet coffee...I am doing 20-4 2 days a week and 16-8 the rest of the week. (cant have bullet coffee during fasting...too many calories, but I DO make it as part of my last meal before the fast).

I KNOW this WOE isn't for everyone... but for those of you with a terrible combination of a REALLY HIGH amount of weight to lose AND the inability to exercise, this REALLY SPEEDS things along and the bullet coffee with plenty of extra fat curbs my appetite and I have fully cut out snacking...one of my biggest WOE-faults.

I have also been tweaking new recipes to add variety...my hubby eats what I eat at home, so I want him to be satisfied and not bored with the same thing either. I am really starting to believe variety in this WOE helps me to stay with it, as I really haven't even had any desire to cheat! (I'm not good with temptation either...lol). I actually have kit kats and Reece's PB Cups that I bought as "gift bag fillers" for hubby's Valentine's day gift bag, and have no desire to have any!! It's a MIRACLE...LOL.

I made a very low-carb key lime cheesecake, and it TOTALLY satisfies my sweet tooth!

Hope everyone is having a great week!!

I am REALLY getting excited about this IF and the bullet coffee...my Spine is deteriorating, and I have pretty much been bedridden in a hospital bed in the living room for over 6 months...I was getting depressed, because I took a sabbatical from the LCHF/Atkin's, and was worried that since I couldn't exercise at all, it was going to go a LOT slower this time....I first started back in 2013 when the docs switched my steroid to something closer to what the body naturally makes. I was 340 pounds at my highest...gained 150 lbs in 9 months from the steroids...they also made me mean with a bad temper, sucked all the calcium out of my hips and the ends of my long bones (avascular necrosis to both hips)...

On the new steroids, all of the bad side effects went away, and my avascular necrosis has been stable and not gotten any worse since then. I was able to ride my Terra Tryke bike around the bike trails with my hubby, and I started losing weight. Then last year, I got osteomyelitis in my Lumbar Spine, and had to have an emergency laminectomy. Unfortunately, it wasn't a COMPLETE SUCCESS, and I developed a sarcoma right on the side of my spine where the stenosis is still really bad. I can't even sit up in my Hoveround for more than 30 minutes, let alone do anything else.

BUT, I don't need to do ANY EXERCISE, and I am still fast-track losing weight!! I am SOOOO thrilled!!!

THANK THE GOOD LORD FOR SMALL FAVORS!!(Or huge miracles)!! :). Hope all of you have a great weekend, and keep up these lifestyle changes you have started!! Even when obstacles try to get in your way, you can overcome...or work around!!!

Started doing IF last week. Truthfully, it was a little difficult the first day; but by the third day, it was actually pretty easy. I was never much of a breakfast person anyway. So after the first 12 hours after my last meal, I just kept telling myself that every hour I continued, my body was being a fat-burning machine. I have learned to drink my coffee without heavy whipping cream... and I add my MCT oil and collagen hydrolysate to my 4:00PM cup of coffee. I also take a pre-natal multi vitamin with DHA and Biotin daily. I actually have more energy and feel much better on a LCHF diet as opposed to when I am eating rice and pasta. I hardly ever ate them before being diagnosed with gastroparesis...since those items are low-residue, they are supposed to be main staples...but the way they made me feel...and how they attributed to my sky-rocketted weight when I was taking the methylprednisolone, I KNEW that I would be MUCH BETTER OFF cutting them out of my diet!!!

Since caloric intake/food choices are my only means of weight-loss, I thought that I would give IF a try. I'm pleased to announce that the weight is now coming off much faster!! I have to watch my sodium intake, though, because after my last IVIG infusion, I gained 15 pounds in one day from fluid retention...that was a discouraging scale day...lolol...but it has since rectified itself. My abdomen still seems a little distended with fluid, but it is slowly returning to normal as well. Good Luck, everyone!!!
