It's time to jump back on the horse!! It's sooo easy to say "free weekend, go back to the diet on Monday". That's what my mother-in-law told me last Friday when we were camping with the family. Mind you, my mother-in-law is used to cooking for 4 boys (all adults now)...it's hard for her to cook for one or two people. So the food that she had was very much NOT on the diet. Luckily my sister-in-law came to the rescue with a HUGE pan of fruit!! I ate my share, of course. Now, it's Wednesday morning and I need to get back into this. I will be on the Wii later today. No more freebies!!

So I really blew it today. I'm learning just how many calories and grams of fat that McDonalds can cost me. I know that I won't meet my calories the next 3 days, though. I'll be camping with the family, including my husband's parents and brothers and their families. It's hot and humid, so I'll be sure to be hydrated. I just don't tend to eat alot when I have to be out in this weather.

So I am coming to learn that I am an emotional eater. I am also learning that I am associating eating with certain activities, such as desk work or playing my computer games. The last couple days have been rough, and I turned to food. That is not why food is there. On a brighter note, I did spend almost 55 minutes with my Wii Fit Plus this morning...I am starting to feel a little better, and noticing that some areas may be starting to slightly change. I know this "transformation" will not happen overnight, and that I have to work at it every day. Going camping this weekend with my husband's family. Not sure what my mother in law has on the menu, but I will make the best of it.
