So I am starting to see what the weight loss looks like. Really have never seen it before but never really looked either. I have looked in the mirror and very impressed with the progress. I have come off of the Atkins because I was really getting into trouble because I was not allowed to have things and I think for me, moderation is easier than to say I can't have. Seems to be working. I have lost the 6 pounds I gained back when I went on a binge. This is the longest I have ever followed through with a life style change. Usually I am like most and give up after the first month. I am down a total for 34 pounds from when I started before joining this site. For a gift, I am rewarding myself with a new phone. Not food......Usually I reward with food but I have really changed my life style!

WOW! I can't believe it has been 5 days since I have recorded a journal entry. Had my hair done today, showered, and teeth brushed. Funny how a few simple things seem like a whole lot when you are laid up and can't do much. Weight is hardly coming off but I assume it is because I can't get around much. Not sweating it though. It will come off eventually. Got my taxes back so I am getting an elliptical next weekend! I am so excited!!

Today is a new day. I have so much on my plate I am overwhelmed with grief. I know that there are people in this world that are worse off than me but I guess I just don't really know how to deal with it. Lots of stuff going on at work and I am not happy about that either. Looking to lose my job as a few others have. You know I don't know how to handle change or problems with out food. I have always dealt with my emotions by binge eating. How do I create a healthy environment for myself and my children if I don't know what to do first?
