I'm 62 female, retired church cleaner, former carer of the elderly. I have been married for 42 years. My husband and I have four children and two grandchildren - all live reasonably nearby. My 90 year old mother lives round the corner, so I have plenty of family commitments. I have been a yo-yo dieter since I was a teenager - I first went on a diet when I weighed 10st 3lb. My lightest weight has been 9st 3lb and I am now at my heaviest ever 16st 9lb - not exactly a success story! I usually follow a calorie controlled diet - either with a club, with the family or on my own. I like to record what I eat but that is a double-edged sword because when I inevitably go haywire I then can't face going back to my journal.

Any activity trackers that sync with FatSecret?
I am using a Fitbit Charge HR which I bought a couple of years ago, and a set of Aria scales - these sync to the Fitbit dashboard, and I record my food eaten on Myfitnesspal. My calorie intake is shown on the Fitbit dashboard no problem as Myfitnesspal syncs with Fitbit too. I try to keep in touch with Fatsecret - the buddie support and journal entries are a great help to a yo-yo dieter like me.

Help needed with RDI
Ha! That calorie calculator is brilliant but I have just found out I can only have 930 calories a day if I want to lose 2lb a week, yikes!
