Happy day! I finally dipped lower than 148 and a half. I've been bouncing between 149 and 151 for a month and a half. So, yesterday I said BLEH!, gave up on my perfect following of my diet, and had fried shrimp, french fries, a whole bag of Lindt chocolate (680 calories alone), and some soda. And the result? I dropped 3 pounds. I'm sensing a pattern here. Every time I've plateau-ed during this journey that's made me 40 pounds lighter, I end up splurging and dropping anywhere from 2 to 5 pounds overnight. And it stays off too! It may not work for everyone, but it sure does for me! Oh, and for anyone who's been wondering, my bf Daniel has been doing amazingly here at Tech. He's lost another 15 pounds or so since August 22. I'm so proud of him. He started at 255 and is at 212 now. Was a pant size 44, now a 36. Was an XL shirt size, but now mediums are starting to fit him. He's 30 pounds from his goal weight (which is what he weighed his freshman year in high school), and that wonderful guy pointed out to me this morning that I now weigh ten pounds less than I did when I graduated high school! Hooray! :) Anyway, I'm looking at 12 pounds until I reach my final goal, so today I thank God for all the strength he has given me. It's been tough, but it would have been impossible without God's help.

Bleh. Been fluctuating between 148 and 150 for over a month now. It's really hard to find healthy food on campus and I always have a severe need for a soda or candybar as a pick-me-up cuz I only sleep an average of 3 or 4 hours a night...
