A year ago I started Atkins at around 211 lbs and went down to 194 according to this site although I had numbers as low as 187 at one point. I can safely say I lost 20 lbs., at least. Getting back to work threw me off completely as well as other factors. In the midst of all that, I developed stress related stomach issues and my back condition is at a peak.
I was enjoying zumba 3, 4 or 5 times a week. I lost a few more pounds but I gained them back. Stress, again, caused me issues with my stomach and back which took me out of the game about 4 months into it. I miss zumba, but I miss my back being okay too. i wish i could find a way to make the pain better quick so i can get back to zumba. i love dancing so this workout is totally ME.
so now im here doing weight watchers. i didn't sign up with them, but i figured out my points and i know what I can and cannot eat when it comes to simple carbs and other items.
i should do very well. i have read just about every diet book under the sun and can honestly say i can teach this stuff to others... now if i could only stop 'stuffing' my mouth and start dropping the weight.
best of luck to me... i so deserve it. 3 years of pain are enough!

between the new job and my back pain and the new routine and the kids and the husband who is always working, today i managed to get out there and walk. the day was beautiful though cold, but once i got moving it was awesome. i loved it. i'm super tired from not sleeping well since my back pain is just not letting down. i'm going to bed early today. tomorrow will be a long day of running around and driving lots... dr appt and deposition. that should be fun. i hope to get my walk in the morning before the chaos begins. night all!

first day back at work. spent too much time getting ready for today (i.e. washing, ironing, packing lunch, etc.,) so yesterday it was literally impossible to get my walk or anything in, i didn't even record. i drank water though.... today, still working on the water but i have my bottles next to me.
again getting ready for work. i'm so glad to finally be working and doing what i love best... being productive.

had an off evening last night and today another off day. i'm feeling lost... frustrated, but it's not my diet that is the problem, it is the problems in my life that are messing me up. i ate fries last night. today i had a salad that i know was full of carbs. i wish the see the light at the end of the tunnel with all these problems so i can be more focused on my health. it's just so tough right now.
