I'm avoiding the scales this week, due to emotional eating this last week and weekend. I'm going to be busier this week to counter the emotional eating and to get back on track this week, before the next wk tools around. The effect on my weight is not the focus now, the type two diabetes has to be the focus from now on. If anyone out there in FS Land has any good ideas, I wld love to see them.

Not such a great week! 97 yr old mom fell and slashed open her arm, 12 stitches! My BP shot up to over 200/120s and a 24hr continuous bp monitor was all over from the 200/120s to 91/67 and all the numbers in between. Oh well, onwards and upwards, and a new hairdo on next Monday!
I am having trouble talking myself out of late night eating after I have good days. Scaring myself with vision and stroke problems isn't helping. Any words of wisdom, anybody?

Not doing well, 2 months since the dreaded Type 2 diabetes news, feeling quite down about the long haul. Trying to get past the "forever" diagnosis.
