Watched a video on youtube from a girl, not sure her age, but she has lost 90lbs so far on her own, not doing any particular diet program. She had some good tips, but noted the big things she has done is limit sugar and white carbs, and workout 5 days a week. She did it gradually, it took her a year and a half to lose the 90 lbs and still has some to go. One key thing that stayed with me was that she said she doesn't set a goal to lose a certain amount of weight by a certain date. She said this only causes pressure on herself and could cause discouragement if she didn't meet it...So true. I think I set myself up a lot by doing just that. We all want a quick fix, but in reality we probably didn't end up where we are at very quickly. It's going to take time.

Did reasonably well this week. Was surprised i had any lose, since I did splurge on Friday and Saturday. Still working on getting the exercise routine down, just gotta take one step at a time.

Ok, I did good yesterday until we stopped at Qdoba for dinner. I had a chicken quesadilla which wasn't too bad, but I ate all of it. There was a point after eating half of it, I thought oh I should just take the rest home with me, but then just continued to eat it. I've realized doing this a couple times here lately. I'm not sure why I just don't stop in that moment. I don't stuff myself until I'm miserable, but I do eat beyond the point where I am no longer hungry. Any suggestions????

4th of July, got a little off track. Went for seconds on the dessert. Strawberry pie, I had never had it before :) But I'm not going to beat myself up about it that was yesterday and this is today! Going to hit the elliptical tonight for at least 30min and finish with some yoga poses for stretching.
