I'm not even going to try to log my food today. Today was my last free day for a while. Let's just say Chinese buffet, a coffee drink, pasta, and garlic bread were involved.
The real work starts tomorrow, but I'll be back at work too. I do so much better when I'm at work. I think the boyfriend is going to drive me, so I'll be at work early and then hit the gym afterward. Fun, fun. God, I'm dreading the gym and all the newcomers (I'm a regular).

I've been nibbling all day -- pasta for breakfast; yogurt, salad, and a little chili this afternoon. Not quite the no-holds-barred binge, at least. My food entries for today are major guesses, though. Not much for low-carb today, but the two biggest offenders -- sugary yogurt and pasta -- aren't going to be part of things anymore.
I found out the boyfriend gets off at 5 tonight, so yay! I still don't know what we're doing tonight, but we'll be together. It may be just a taxi cab downtown for dinner and drinks and then a taxi home.
I spent $120 at the grocery store. Amazing how expensive things can get when you don't buy processed foods! I didn't even buy steak this time. I came home and cut up four red peppers and an onion for the freezer and made some chili.
I also think it's time to change my diet here. I know what works for me, and it's a diet that is generally low-carb -- lots of salad and lean meat, carbs only in the form of veggies and beans and no-sugar-added yogurt. I can't stand how big I am these days, so I need to do something. I already exercise regularly, so at least I have that going for me.

Well, a trip to Pittsburgh didn't do a whole lot for my physical health, but it was a great trip to see my friend. I did a lot of walking, but my eating wasn't great and certainly not health-filled.
I think I'm going back to a low-carb diet, but with yogurt and beans. It's like I need the "you can't eat bread" thing. Otherwise, moderation doesn't work. Plus, I'll be cutting down on the beer.
Tonight is NYE, and we don't have any plans. I'm not sure what we'll do. The boyfriend is at work until 8, so ...
It's 10 a.m. I should shower and hit the grocery store and hit Chick-fil-A (I have a coupon for a free sandwich that expires today!). But I'm not really feeling the motivation to do anything.
