STEADY SUNDAY

So walking with Brooke was fun, but I went to the gym right after I finished my walk with her. She isn't as in shape as I am and I felt like she held me back from getting a really good workout. I was always two steps ahead of her. It is good to have a friend willing to exercise with me though. I am going to go walk with her again tomorrow!

Friday after I got off work I went and got a pedicure. Stupid me couldn't understand what the Asian lady was saying and just politely smiled and nodded... Apparently it was the wrong thing to do...She started putting all this crazy stuff on my legs and massaging me all over then made me put my feet in this fish tank thing where the fish sucked on my feet!.....It wasn't a NORMAL pedicure...and it cost me $60!!! Oh well at least my legs and feet are super soft and my toenails are pretty. After the DELUXE pedicure I went to my boyfriends and he had a $50 gift card to one of my favorite clothing stores for me, a birthday cake he attempted to make himself, and flowers waiting for me. It was so sweet. After he surprised me with all of that we went and had BBQ for dinner, then went shopping and I used my gift card, then we went to Atlanta motor speedway and watched the drag races. It was fun, I'd never done that before.

Saturday, My birthday was great, except it was raining so we didn't get to go climb stone mountain. :( The mountain is really just basically a big rock and it is REALLY slippery when it's wet and almost impossible to hike after or during rain. So me and my boyfriend went to lunch at a Mexican restaurant with my mom, grandma, step dad, and aunt. Then we went and saw the movie The Lucky One with them. After that Todd and me went back to his place. Later we went and shot pool and went and had hibachi at a Japanese steakhouse for dinner. It was REALLY good. I ate all my veggies and filet mignon first. So I only had a few bites of rice because I was so full already.

Today I had to go to work, but it was still raining. So I got to leave really early... Not many people like to play golf in the rain. I went to Olive Garden with my family for an early dinner/late lunch in celebration of Mother's Day. I had the veggie soup and salad. It was really good! After that I went to the gym where I worked out HARD for 2 and a half hours!!!! I'm going to be SO SORE tomorrow! At the gym in the bathroom I used the mirror to take some full body shots since I don't really have any recent ones on here. This is what 194 looks like on me...

Winning Wednesday #2



I have so much to talk about! So last week's goal of sugar reduction from my diet was a success. I am going to continue to eat less sugar everyday. Just remind myself before I dive into that chocolate and candy that I want to make it to my goal and do I REALLLLLY want that chocolate and candy more than I want to live a healthy lifestyle? I have found myself eating apples and strawberries lately and it actually satisfying my sweet tooth!


My goal for this week is to get my lazy butt back in the gym!!!! I need to work out more! My goal is to go to the gym (or do something active that gets my heart rate way up)5 out of 7 days this next week. Tonight after I get off work I am going to go to the gym! Also, good news...an old friend of mine messaged me on facebook telling me how great I look. She also invited me to be walking buddies with her. So we are going walking tomorrow. She is really out of shape and she wants me to help coach her to a healthier her. We are going to help each other stay on track. I know all you on fatsecret have helped me stay on track and supported me and encouraged me at time I felt all my hard work was pointless and not working. It'd be great to have some of that support in real life too. You can never have too much support! I am so glad she approached me with the walking buddies idea. (hopefully the walking buddies will advance to jogging buddies soon)

Friday night me and my boyfriend are going out for drinks with some friends. I don't drink much but I may have a drink because Saturday is my birthday. I am going to be 23 years old. I can't believe it...In celebration of my birthday we ARE climbing stone mountain and then watch the laser show Saturday evening. I'm really really excited. I hope its good weather Saturday!

Sunday is mother's day and I have to work a 12 hour shift. I'm currently in between 2 jobs right now. Working 54 hour weeks. It's crazy and I am crazy exhausted. I have to keep going though. Make money! Next Friday I should have an AMAZING check! :) YAY

More good news. When I stepped on the scale this morning I was down a pound. Still not at my lowest 193. But at 195. I'm hoping this exercise boost will make the scale drop more. I need to hit my next goal SOON because I'm so ready to be out of the obese BMI category. It's so close I can smell it!!!! I am in a wedding next Saturday and I am just PRAYING the dress will fit! I ordered it 2 sizes too small back in January. I still am like half an inch away from getting it zipped...I may have to buy a girdle...Oh the joys of being a girl...
