Happy birthday, America! I'm going to celebrate by eating a bunch of pancakes and reading comic books. That sounds pretty appropriate, right?

So, surprisingly, Saturday's seemingly endless food binge was really not quite so much food as I thought it had been after tallying it all up. I'm actually kind of impressed. But, next time, maybe I'll skip on the rangoons (BUT THEY WERE SO GOOD).

Excuse me while I address myself in the third person:
Never mind that you've failed to set your diet and exercise calendar from "some" to "all," we both know you've been keeping meticulous track of every bit of food you eat (Even while drunk as hell last Friday! Good job!) and all the physical exertion you've done. Make it another two weeks of this and we'll have a full month under our belt. You should also probably stop putting off buying a scale, since it's pretty obvious that the one upstairs is never getting fixed/replaced.

Well, I kind of figured as much. I only wrote down the original weight as a ball-park, as I didn't have access to the scale that day. Oh well, at least I know that from here on, that number should go down. Gotta start somewhere, right?
Also, geez Bob's Red Mill, could your Scottish Oatmeal
be
any more delicious? Seriously, that is some damn good stuff.
