I am 44(45 shortly) and have started having more problems with the weight I carry. I have been fairly healthy, with just some hypertension(controlled). Recently I have been having back and knee problems that have been directly attibuted to my weight by my physician. It's time to get serious. I have been forced to sit out several activities that I knew I would not be able to do, and I don't like it. I have struggled with my weight since graduating from high school. Small gradual increases have lead to a place I never thought I'd be.
