Made a slight mistake, and joined Fat Secret ( in English) and just found out there is a Dutch branch/variety.
Can't switch now it seems because my e- mail is in use here.
Not a big problem but the Dutch site would be more convenient because of foodstuffs and products available in the Netherlands.
Here I often have to 'translate'to something close or hopefully similar.
No big deal, stuck to a very rigorous diet for 17 days now and lost about 8 kg.
Without too much troubles as far as cravings are concerned so I virtually lived cheat free, with the exception of one Twix which I discovered in my backpack and was left there from a little trip 3 weeks ago.
Not following my diet at all which was based on 2600 kcal a day, but tried to stick to 1000 up to 1200 to get the hard part over as quickly as possible.
First days were indeed hard with a loudly protesting stomach, right now it is a doddle, so let's see how long I can keep this up without cracking.
Great plus so far is that I have no more trouble with acid re-flux which had bothered me off and on for a few years now.
Regained control of 3 pants I had stowed away at the far end of the clothes cabinet and they do fit me now.
This encouraged me to get another 8 out of the attic and try them on, no luck there yet, but a few were close.
So I've decided to pack them in a bag with the 'almosts' right at the top and the ones once considered 'no way' right at the bottom.
I keep those nearby and at hand, next try will be one month into my diet.
Let's see if I can dig out a welcome Christmas present by then.

So far so good a few days in, managing to stick below the RDI required for gradual weight loss without feeling I'm starving myself.
My slow bread I bake every other day is a lifesaver in that respect, it manages to fill me up just enough by itself when craving hits,
That and tangerines keep me from serious snacking in between.
In the meantime I'm basically counting calories and figuring out what works for me.
I expected to feel tired and slow taking in so few calories, but no ill effects so far.
I must however try to keep this diet balanced, so I smuggled 1 of these soluble vitamin tablets into my bread recipe, that at least should take care of half my daily vitamin needs.
Did no harm to the leavening process either it seems.
