So, I went shopping today. I was going to take pictures, but I live 45 minutes away from the store I go to, and I didn't want anything to melt/spoil.
A brief list of what I bought:
-Microwaveable meals
-Fruits(fresh and pre-cut) and veggies(fresh and frozen)
-Whole grain tortillas, english muffins, and bread(and brown rice)
-low fat cheeses and cage-free organic eggs
-snack foods, such as hummus, triscuits, unsweetened applesauce, plain popcorn, pretzels, & skinny cow candies and ice cream
-condiments(salsa, peanut butter, etc)
-drinks(plain water, sparkling water, and v8)
i think that should be good for the next few weeks. i can replace anything i run out of fairly quickly, considering i work in a grocery store.
i think i should be set for now! :)

I've had several of these accounts before, but I can't remember the passwords or emails attached to them. So, I started a new one.
I'm Dia. I'm 21 years old, and despite the fact that I'm in relatively good shape & have good bloodwork according to my doctors, i am overweight. I have a job that keeps me fairly active, but it just so happens to be inside a grocery store surrounded by fast food joints. I eat a lot of junk, and this is my attempt to rectify that.
My paycheck arrived today, but I work late and don't have time to go beforehand, so tomorrow I will be going grocery shopping for healthier options. The goal is to buy things I can eat in lieu of the regular fast food and checkout line chips and candy and soda that I normally consume.
I am not doing this because I want to be healthy. Being skinny would be fine, yes, but I love my body the way it is now. I am trying to start healthier habits so I can live longer and enjoy my family and friends for as long as I possibly can.
Anyways, more tomorrow. I'll probably post what I get in my grocery haul :)
