I went to Old Navy and I am down ANOTHER pant size...a size 6!!!! Yep...From a 12 (at the start of this disaster) back to a 6 - my original wt was between a 2 - 4. So this is GREAT.
I have increased my workout to Eliptical-Recumbent bike - total mins 42
And I have added the wt machines...so, even though my wt is slow...my body is definitely changing!
I am SOOOOO Happy!
Oh, I bought just 2 pairs of pants - 1 jeans, 1 cargo. AND met a woman at the store and told her about the diet and this group...hopefully she will join!

Well, I was doing great except for the last few days - I think it might be PMS, bc I have been CRAVING some stuff not on the food plan, and gave in a bit...
However, the good news is the work outs. BC of the Lupus/RA/Fibro I had to start working out for only 5 min every 2 days...I am now pleased that i am up to 41 min of cardio (utilizing the Eliptical and the recumbent bike - I do more elip. but I switch it around) and this last week I have added some of the weight machines! I am going about every other day (which I know is still not what is recommended in the book- I should be going 5 days a week but when I go A LOT I have a lot of pain the next day). I was taking Tai Chi on Wed nights (and am about half way through the 24 form, but have had to quit - Wed nights are just not good).
So...I didn't lose any weight. BUT I didn't gain any either!

Down only .5 this week - but I am headed in the right direction (and to be honest I have had 2 Chocolate bars this week - I know, my bad!). And considering I can't exercise I am feeling ok about it. I have noticed that my body image is better even with the small weight loss. One day I will take the big step and measure myself - since I am into pants that I wasn't in before I started!

Well, I am a bit bummed that my wt loss slowed down to .5 this week BUT considering that I cheated a bit on Thanksgiving, and I have been trying some different recipes (because my 12 year old is REALLY bored with Brown RIce and steamed veggies!) that haven't been 100% on plan. And then yesterday I had (are you ready?) a CHOCOLATE BAR! One of those yummy reindeer munch bars that I found at Target. I NEVER keep that stuff around - or I keep stuff for my daughter that i don't like, but I am HORRIFIED to report that I was in line at Target, saw them and snatched one.
Impulse chocolate buying will get you every time!
