Weigh Day tomorrow, and if i'm honest, I am a littl emore optimistic this week. Even 1lb would be a confidence boost. I know I haven't been exercising (finding time during this busy period at work is a nightmare) but I have been very careful with what I shove down my throat! I have been walking instead of catching the bus, and trying to get out for walks over lunch. There is only one sure way to tell, and thats the scales...

BMI is 35.5. I know some people say it's a completely outdated sytem, but 35.5 is still bad by any scale! I HAVE to get this down. I'm confident that I will lose this week, as my husband is away and i have less temptation. I just have to stay focussed and keep my eye on the prize. I have promised myself a new Aspinal of London Barberella handbag (stunning) WHEN I reach my goal weight. If that isn't incentive, I don't know what is! Roll on Thursday!! Back on the wagon, back to eating smaller portions of healthier food. I WILL DO THIS!!!

My husband was home for the weekend and i baked him some shortbread and sausage rolls and we also went out for a chinese meal. Although i was more controlled than normal and only had boiled rice and lemon chicken (negative batter), I did pick quite badly at the shortbread and sausage rolls. I have also had a bit of a sweet tooth this week, not sure why, but I have been nibbling at more chocolate than usual. Although he is very supportive of me changing my lifestyle, I don't think he understands that i do need to be stricter than most people, at least for the first part until I get used to the changes. Another week of not losing anything, not a good confidence booster, but it's still not a gain, and I am going to be more determined this week as he is away. I am staying well away from anything naughty and cracking on. I will also keep an eye on my portions as my breakfast cereal portions have krept up slightly. I CAN DO THIS! Just a little bump in the road. I can reach and surpass my 1st stone. Mind over matter! Get the heck on with it and stop making excuses!!!

I'm not shocked that I haven't lost anything this week. It has been a particularly bad week for me. I had a night out with the lads (which was followed by an impromptu macdonalds for tea), an evening out with th efirls in portsmouth (a chinese with all the trimmings, and lunch out with a friend which was followed by a rather nice but very naughty chocolate dessert. Completely my own fault, and all I can say is it's a miracle I haven't gained this week! Back on the wagon and finger out etc. I HAVE to lose this week. Going to make the effort and be MEGA strict with myself. Here goes! Everything I have is going to go into it this week!

A bit of a blip this week as I went out for a meal, and seriously the cheapest thing on the menu was £15 for a burger and chips!! I also had a few gin and tonics, which I know didn't help, but it also meant that I didn't really feel like going to the gym. However, a loss is better than a plus, and I've had my little blow out, so it's back on track as of today! I even plan to go to a BBQ sober!!! Clean slate this week, let's get back into it!!
