Hi, I'm Teena and I'm looking to lose just a few pounds, but even more to stabilize my weight and create good and sustainable eating habits.

Update! I've gained all my weight back and then some after dealing with some traumatic events - but I'm back!

I'm 72 years old (damn that sounds old) and mother of four, 'Meemo' to two. I've been lots of things and had lots of various "careers' in my life. I hold an MFA, taught art in NYC public schools, worked in advertising in the days before computers when everything was hand done. Worked for my County in Environmental Affairs and then in Social Services, sat on my Town Council and was Mayor for a couple of years. After retiring I became a Master Gardener. I volunteer a lot! I'm finishing up physical therapy for a rotator cuff tear and about to go to the next step to get into training in order to go back to training.

I gained a lot of weight during the pandemic gobbling all my cooking adventures and snacking on horrible stuff. Why? Well, because of being trapped in the house, not being able to go to the gym or do ANYTHING and feeling so sorry for myself.

But it's Spring and the earth is turning green and things are blooming and I'm feeling renewed enough to get back to where I was. Besides, I saw a recent photo of myself and was HORRIFIED.

Oh, been with my husband for over 45 years. He can eat anything and not gain weight.
